El CENTRO — The two free-fishing days designated by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for 2022 are scheduled for Saturday, July 2 and Saturday, September 3.Every year the California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW) announces two Free Fishing Days where anyone ages 16 or older can go fishing without having a sport fishing license. Canals, ponds, creeks, rivers, lakes, and beach fishing is included. Something to keep in mind considering summer vacation and locals traveling out of town.
